How does Calmora work?
The problem

Most bedtime advice starts with the idea that your child needs to become more tired. But a lot of parents we built Calmora for are dealing with the opposite problem.

Their child is already exhausted. They're yawning, rubbing their eyes, and clearly ready for rest, but their mind is somehow still going. They're talking, moving around, asking for one more thing, or getting right back out of bed when you leave the room.

That is why simply making an already-tired child feel sleepier may not solve the hardest part of bedtime. They still have to make the shift from still going to finally settling.

The Calmora approach

Calmora was made specifically for that wind-down. Instead of adding melatonin, the formula combines L-theanine, calming botanicals, and magnesium to support a calmer transition into the bedtime routine.

L-theanine leads the formula and is used to support a calm, relaxed state without being a sleep drug.

Chamomile, passionflower, hops, and spearmint support the body's natural wind-down and help make the evening feel less "on."

Magnesium plays a supporting role in normal nervous-system and relaxation processes. It is one part of the blend, not the entire idea.

The goal is simple: help the wind-down feel easier, so sleep has a better chance to follow naturally.

Is this gentle enough for my child?

We know "sleep supplement" can sound much stronger than what many parents actually want for their child.

Calmora was made for parents who want help with bedtime without feeling like they have to knock their child out just to get through the night.

Melatonin-free

Calmora contains no melatonin. The point isn't to force a sleepy feeling. It is to support the calmer part of bedtime that comes before sleep.

Made for children

Calmora is made specifically for children ages 3 and up, rather than being positioned as an adult sleep product that parents simply have to guess how to use for a smaller body.

Not a sleeping medication

Calmora is a dietary supplement, not a prescription sleeping medicine. Your child should still look and feel like themselves. The goal is a calmer wind-down, not sedation.

If your child takes prescription medication or has a health condition, check with their healthcare professional before adding any new supplement.

What ages is this for?

Calmora is made for children ages 3 and up. Follow the serving directions on the bottle for your child's age.

For children younger than 3, check with your pediatrician first.

Quality & testing

When something is going into your child's nightly routine, "trust us" shouldn't be enough.

Calmora is made in a GMP-certified facility and undergoes third-party testing for quality before it reaches your home.

You can also see the full Supplement Facts on this page, including the active ingredients and serving information, so you know what you're giving your child before you ever open the bottle.

What should I notice first?

Because Calmora isn't meant to knock your child out, we wouldn't judge it by whether they suddenly look sleepy ten minutes after taking it.

Start by watching the part of bedtime it was actually made for: the settling.

πŸŒ™ First, watch the wind-down. Maybe there is less endless moving around, talking, bargaining, or popping back up.

πŸ› Then watch the routine. Pajamas, brushing teeth, books, and lights-out may simply start feeling easier to move through.

😴 Then look at bedtime as a whole. If settling becomes easier, the long stretch between "it's bedtime" and actually being asleep may start to feel less exhausting.

β˜€οΈ And don't forget the morning. A calmer night can change how the next day begins for both of you.

Every child is different, so look for the small signs that bedtime is becoming easier rather than waiting for one perfect night.

How to use Calmora

Calmora is meant to be the start of the wind-down, not something you reach for after bedtime has already turned into a battle.

πŸŒ™ Before bedtime: Give the serving shown on the bottle before your child's normal nighttime routine.

πŸ› Then keep doing what they already know: bath, pajamas, brushing teeth, lower lights, a book, or whatever your normal routine looks like.

πŸ“– Keep the rhythm simple: using it around the same part of the evening makes it easy to fold Calmora into something your child already expects.

No complicated bedtime protocol. No complete routine overhaul. Just add it to the wind-down you already have.

Why haven't the things I've tried fully worked?

If you're here, there is a good chance Calmora isn't the first thing you've tried.

Maybe it was melatonin. Maybe magnesium. Maybe you moved bedtime earlier, cut screens, ran them around all afternoon, bought the blackout curtains, followed the routine perfectly, or tried another chart.

And some of those things may have helped a little. The problem is that they don't all work on the same part of bedtime.

Melatonin

Melatonin is used as a nighttime signal. But if your child is already tired and still can't settle, another sleep signal may not answer the whole problem.

Magnesium

Magnesium can support normal relaxation, but on its own it is still only one part of the picture. That's exactly why we didn't build Calmora around "more magnesium."

Routines and charts

They can make bedtime more predictable, which is helpful, but a perfect routine cannot always make an already-revved-up child suddenly feel settled.

Calmora focuses on the piece in between all of those things: helping your child move from still going to winding down.

So if you've tried a long list already, you weren't doing it wrong. You may simply have been working on a different part of the night.

The month-by-month routine

Bedtime habits are easier to judge when you keep them steady. Calmora is meant to become one small part of the nightly rhythm rather than another bottle you try once during a terrible night and forget about.

Month 1 β€” Build the routine

Add Calmora around the same part of the evening and keep everything else familiar. The goal is not to rebuild bedtime. It is to see how your child responds when the wind-down has a little more support.

Month 2 β€” Watch the pattern

Pay attention to the things you normally feel every night: how much back-and-forth there is, how long settling seems to take, how lights-out feels, and how the morning begins.

Month 3+ β€” Keep what works

If Calmora has earned a place in your child's routine, keep it simple and consistent. The point isn't to make bedtime revolve around a supplement. The point is for Calmora to quietly fit into a routine your family can actually live with.

Think of it like the rest of bedtime: the same basic rhythm, night after night, without having to reinvent everything every time the sun goes down.

Child winding down before bedtime
For the nights when they're clearly tired, but bedtime still takes everything out of both of you.

BEDTIME, IN REAL LIFE

They're exhausted. Bedtime still takes forever.

If your child can barely keep their eyes open right up until it's actually time to sleep, you already know how confusing this can be.

Before bed

You can see they're exhausted.

They're yawning, rubbing their eyes, and clearly running out of steam. You think tonight might finally be easy.

Bedtime starts

And somehow they find another gear.

Pajamas become a negotiation. Brushing teeth takes forever. Then the talking, moving, questions, and β€œone more thing” start.

Lights out

They're tired. They're just not settling.

You leave the room and they're back up. You stay in the room and they're still rolling around. An hour can disappear before everything finally goes quiet.

Morning

Everyone pays for the night before.

They're harder to wake, you're already drained, and getting dressed and out the door feels like another battle before the day has even started.

Calmora was built around the gap between being tired and actually being able to settle.

Because for some kids, getting tired was never the hard part.

β€œBest thing we’ve tried for bedtime”

Man. I shit you not! Literally less than a week in and ive noticed the biggest difference in my 8 year old. Hes the sweetest kid and very loving. But bedtime was literally causing problems in our family and stopping us from wanting to do anything in the evenings. Everyone was miserable. He would be dead tired but still talking, moving, getting back up, asking for one more thing, and some nights it took over an hour before he finally settled. We did everything right, I think? Earlier bedtime, magnesium, melatonin, less screens, more activity during the day. Tried this and hes done a total 360. I am shook honestly. Bedtime is just calmer. Hes still himself, he just actually settles instead of fighting sleep for what feels like forever. I almost didnt want to try another thing because nothing else really worked. Im forever thankful. DO IT!!!

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

β€œA total 360 turnaround”

Ill comment and share my story til the cows come home because there is nothing worse than just not knowing how to help your own 6 year old. His bedtime was literally causing problems in our family and stopping us from wanting to do anything in the evenings. Everyone was miserable. I cant believe this stuff actually works honestly. My son would be yawning and rubbing his eyes but somehow still talking, tossing and turning, getting up over and over, and getting aggravated very quickly. He was so tired but just could not settle. We have been on this 10 days and I literally wanna cry. Its been a total 360 turn around. I almost didnt want to try it because we already tried melatonin, magnesium, routines and everything else people tell you to do. Like I honestly cant believe this stuff works so well. Im just flabbergasted and feel kinda sad all at the same time. My poor kid was probably miserable too. Hes 6 and looked at me yesterday after we read his book and said, "mommy I feel calm" 😭

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

β€œThe calm wind-down I was looking for”

This stuff is incredible. We were using melatonin but it would make our 5 year old literally just fall over out of no where so I quit giving it and had a friend recommend this and it has been a game changer. I give it around 30 minutes before bedtime and he will start to get sleepy and sleeps all night without waking up.

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

β€œThey wind down instead of just crashing”

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I have twins and they fight to go to bed. I have used melatonin and yes, it works but I don't want to give it to them everyday. And when I give them melatonin, it's not a gradual slowdown. It works so fast and the amount of family time after I give them melatonin is nil. With this? my hyperactive twin 4 yr olds wind down in a more calm fashion. They are ready for me to read them a bedtime story, listen to a bedtime song and then off to sleep they go. They also have less wake up times during the night, if at all, and wake up in a better mood. I find sometimes with melatonin, they wake up cranky. Not so with this supplement.

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

β€œSo easy to add to our nighttime routine”

This review is based on my personal experience. I have a son with ADHD, and he's always very hyperactive at night. Since we started giving him these drops, they've made a huge difference to our nighttime routine. Being liquid, they're very easy to administer and have a very pleasant taste, except when mixed with water, which gives them a slightly bitter aftertaste. But my son takes them perfectly fine without mixing. As for these drops, they truly deserve 5 stars because they really do what they promise; they're definitely worth considering.

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

β€œShe actually likes the taste”

This is a life saver!!! My toddler is autistic and sleep has always been a struggle but this stuff is amazing! It helps her fall asleep and stay asleep. I couldn’t live without it. She loves the taste of it we just mix it with water 30 min before bedtime.

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

β€œI think we’re both happier for it”

This is the most amazing product in existence. I will die on that hill. I was dreading bedtime every night. I’d have to go back up 10-12 times some nights. It was exhausting. I do .25 about 1 hour before bed and there’s no fight, no push back. She also cooperates better with brushing her teeth. She doesn’t seem over tired, just relaxed and ready for bed. I think we’re both happier for it.

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

β€œThis stuff is like a dream”

This stuff is like a dream. My 3 year old was taking almost 2 hours to go to sleep and waking constantly in the middle of the night. Now she’s down in less than 30 mins and has been sleeping all night!

We Want You to Ask Questions!

What does Calmora actually do?

Calmora is a melatonin-free calming supplement made to support the wind-down before sleep.

It is for the part of bedtime where your child is already tired, but their mind and body still seem to be going. The goal is to help them ease toward a calmer, more settled state so sleep can follow naturally.

Is Calmora a sleeping medication?

No. Calmora is a dietary supplement, not a sleeping medication, and it is not made to knock your child out.

It supports the settling-down that comes before sleep rather than forcing sleep itself.

Does Calmora contain melatonin?

No. Calmora is melatonin-free on purpose.

The formula is built around supporting the wind-down itself, using L-theanine, calming botanicals, and magnesium rather than adding another sleep signal.

What ages is Calmora for?

Calmora is made for children ages 3 and up.

Follow the serving directions on the bottle for your child's age. For children younger than 3, check with your pediatrician first.

What does it taste like?

Calmora is designed to be easy to work into a child's routine. You can give the label-directed serving on its own or mix it into a small amount of water, juice, or a drink they already like.

If you have a very picky child, mixing it into a familiar drink is usually the easiest place to start.

Can my child take Calmora with medication or other supplements?

If your child takes prescription medication, has a health condition, or already uses other supplements, talk to their healthcare professional before adding Calmora.

That is simply the safest approach whenever you add something new to a child's routine.

I've already tried magnesium. Why would Calmora be different?

Fair question. A lot of the parents Calmora was built for have already tried magnesium.

Magnesium isn't the Calmora story. It is one supporting part of a broader formula led by L-theanine and a calming botanical blend.

So if magnesium on its own did not do much for your child, that is exactly why we did not make β€œmore magnesium” the headline.

When should I give Calmora?

Think of Calmora as the start of the wind-down, not something you reach for after bedtime has already become a battle.

Give the serving shown on the bottle before your normal bedtime routine, then move into the things your child already knows: pajamas, brushing teeth, books, dim lights, and quiet time.

What should I notice first?

Do not expect your child to suddenly look knocked out or heavily sleepy. That is not what Calmora is made to do.

Start by watching the settling. Maybe there is less constant moving around, less back-and-forth, or the usual pajamas-books-lights-out routine simply feels easier to get through.

Every child is different, so look for a calmer wind-down rather than judging Calmora by one perfect night.

Can Calmora be used every night?

Calmora is designed to fit into a consistent bedtime routine. Use it according to the serving directions on the bottle.

Consistency also makes it easier to judge how it fits your child's routine than trying it once during a particularly rough night.

Will Calmora stop my child from waking during the night?

Calmora is specifically made to support the wind-down before sleep.

Sleep is complicated and every child is different, so we do not promise that Calmora will prevent night waking.

How is Calmora made and tested?

Calmora is made in a GMP-certified facility and is third-party tested for quality.

The full Supplement Facts are available on this page so you can see what is in the formula before giving it to your child.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

Yes. If you choose Subscribe & Save, you can manage, skip, pause, or cancel your upcoming deliveries according to your subscription settings.

What if Calmora isn't right for my child?

Every child is different, and we do not expect one product to be right for every family.

If Calmora is not a fit, reach out to our support team and we will help you according to our current money-back guarantee policy.

How long does one bottle last?

How long a bottle lasts depends on the serving used for your child's age. Check the Supplement Facts and serving directions on the bottle for the exact number of servings.
